Geographic is a soft serif. Inspired by a typeface designed for the National Geographic magazine in the early 1950s, Geographic's corners are deliberately rounded in an attempt to replicate the ink spread found in the vintage magazines referenced in the making of this typeface. Initially designed for text, this drawing works well at large, display sizes.
